. The Supreme Council's telegram, expressing surprise that Roumania has no i- given definite pledges of a changed attitude towards AustriaHungary, is interpreted in the gravest sense.
The Allies will not b< , satisfied if the Roumanian depredations in Hungary cease only for lack of material. —A. and N.Z.
