LONDON, August 22.
Advices hav e been received that when the Bolsheviks occupied Armaviv, in Armenia, they hauled down the flag of the German Consulate and shot down th e Consul, though he was waring his official uniform, mutilated his body, and looted the buildings, taking much valuable property. They also machine-gunned six hun> clred persons, comprising Mahommedans and twenty-one Christians, who were sheltering in the Consulate, killing and wounding them en masse.— Reuter.
