WHANGAREI HORSE PAIR,
The N.A. Farmers' Co-op., Ltd., reports:—
In conjunction with Messrs Dalgety and Co. we held our Spring Horse Fair at Whangarei on Thursday, the 7th instant. There were 100 horses of all classes yarded, mostly hacks and harness sorts, and nearly all the lots changed hands at satisfactory prices. Bidding was spirited and competition keen from the start.
Medium draughts brought from £15 to £25; hacks and harness horses from £10 to £21 10s; ponies, £2 to £10 10s; weedy sorts, 15/ upwards.
