"Professor" Edwards delighted the crowds of children at intervals with the wonderful enactments of Punch in dealing death-blows to all his friends and acquaintances* One missed the dog "Toby" in th e performance, and the feeling was expressed by many adult onlookers that the old rendering of the show could now-a-days very properly take on a less combative nature. However, some children witnessed every performance, not being able to break uway from the wondrous spell.
