(Received 11 a.m.) WASHINGTON, Nov. 8. The armistice, s must decide before 11 a.m. (French time) on Monday.:—A. and N.Z. NEW YORK, Nov. 8. The United Press Agency's Paris correspondent says: "After hearing the terms of the armistice the German delegate* asked for an immediate suspension of arms, which was refused. The State Department announces that the German armistice delegates conferred with Marshal Foch at headquarter* at 9 o'clock on Friday morning (Paris time), It was found necessary to refer the armistice to Berlin. Seventy-two hours will be allowed for this purpose. —A. and N.Z. NEW YORK, Nov. 8. It is definitely stated that Marshal Foch notified that they would be given 72 hours to reach a decision and that no compromise was possible. They must surrender or not.—A. and N.Z.
