SLIP JUST FALLING.

WELLINGTON, Nov. 9

From further accounts of the railway accident it would appear that the slip was actually falling just as the train approached it. It is said that the fireman saw it and called for the brake, or the shock would have been worse. Another train had passed half an hour before. Miss Massey and Mr McCallum (brother of the M.P.) were among the unhurt passengers.—Press Assn.
