AUCKLAND SUPREME COURT.

REFORMATORY SENTENCES,

AUCKLAND, Feb. 23,

At the Supreme Court the following were sentenced to reformatory treatment not exceeding two years:—Eleanor Eileen Christian, alias Williams, forgery, uttering and false pretences; Andrew Mercer, theft; George Sullivan, alias Gardiner, false pretences.

In the case against William Butler, charged with arson at Waihi, his sister having lent accused £100 to satisfy the insurance company, he was ordered to come up for sentence when called upon.
