FOUR-ROCMED COTTAGE,

TE KUITI, Feb 22

At 5.20 last night 3 four-roomed cottage, owned and occupied by John Carr, was burned to the ground. The owner, who lived alone, had cone out leaving ail safe. The lack of town water supply prevented the brigade saving anything. The property was insured in the State Fire Office for £200, and the furniture in the same office for £100.
