The agricultural implement makers' strike is spreading. Carpenters and ironworkers in various firms are affected and will come out in sympahty.

Of sixteen 1 implement makers' establishments in the metropolis ten are now closed as far as unionists are concerned. ,

The Amalgamated Society of Engineers has decided to make common cases with the implement makers, and ro ask all its members to cease work in the shops where non-unionists are employed.
