SYDNEY, Feb. 20
News has been received from New Hebrides of a serious boating acci dent. Mr Pitt, a Britisher, formerly a resident of New Zealand, with foui others left in a boat to visit a neighboring island.
The party have not since been heard of, and it is believed that they perished in a hurricane which recently swept the group.
