LONDON, Feb. 17.
The "Times' " Sydney correspondent states that the Australians retain unchanged views on preference, and will not alter their policy, though probably they will readjust the details more efficaciously at the next tariff revision. They feel that it is useless to reintroduce the subject at the Imperial Conference while the existing Imperial Ministry is the mouthpiece of British views. SOUTH AFRICA NON-COMMITTAL. Reuters Capetown correspondent declares that the Union Government considers it preferable to simiA , discuss preference with the Imperial Government.
