WON BY WELLINGTON BANDS

In the second test selection A grade, Wellington Garrison were placed first vith 210 points, Waihi Federal (200) second, and Petone Municipal (180) third. Much surprise was caused by Wanganui being placed absolutely last, although their playing- had been loudly applauded. The B grade was won by Wellington Tramways with 195 points. Gisborne (190) were second, and Marton (ISS) third. The Championship, Besson Shield, and £100 were thus won by Wellington Garrison, Waihi being second and Wanganui third in each event. Wellington Tramways won the Boosey Shield and the B grade championship.
