NEW YORK, Dec. 19
Kid Gardiner, a well-known lightweight boxer, died in the hospital at Philadelphia from injuries received in a bout wth Johnny Kane.
The post-mortem examination showed that Gardiner's skull had been fractured. Kane has been arrested.
