AUCKLAND OFFICIAL APPOINT-
MENTS,
ADJUTANTS AND INSTRUCTORS
WELLINGTON, Dae. 19.
Among the appointments of Adjutants and instructors under the new defence, scheme are the following from the Auckland district: — Adjutants, mounted: Capts. Bosworth, Hay, and Nutsford. Infantry: Capts. Cummings, Burgess, and Lieut. Morton. Instructors, mounted: H. J. Dunham and Sergt.-Major R. Simpson. Infantry: E. Tingey, J. B. Hobbs, Sergt. J. W. West, Hon. Lieut. J. R. Holden. The appointments will be confirmed after a period of six months' pronation. ' Captains will receive £300 to £350 and house allowance of £50, unless tree quarters are available; lieutenants £200 to £250 and house allow? ance of £50; Sergt.-Instructors, £160; Sergts.-Major, £180; Warrant Officers, £200.
