MELBOURNE, Nov. 17,
The Customs Amendment Bill extends the powers; of dealing with the prohibition, impoartatiaa,. and exportation of goods to and from the Commonwealth.
The powers exercised by Customs officers in regard tor. smuggling ars extended to the importation and exportation of all prohibited goods, and similar penalties are fixed.
