Yesterday afternoon a fair number of matches were played on the bowling green, a large number of players being present.
In the Handicap Singles Dr. Good (5) beat Clarke (9), 27—20; Moore (5) beat Simmons (7), 25 —24; Mirfin (3) beat Carter (3), 25—18. Massey (1) beat McGill (4), 20—17; McGill (4) beat W. Donaldson (7), 23—22; Coburn (scr) beat Allwood (5), 30—8; Beeston (scr) beat W. Donaldson (7), 24 —19; Good (5) beat Briggs (6), 32— 18; W. Donaldson (7) beat Hutchings (9) j 32—28; and Carter (3) beat Moore (5) 23—20.
In the buckles competition the holders, Moore, Simmons, Allwood and Carter (skip) were defeated by Marshall, Clarke, Mirfin and Horn (skip) 21—13.
Massey and Bray (skip) beat McGill and Horn (skip) for the buttons, 23— 9.
In the draw games, Dr. Good and ChJfsel (skip) vanquished Bray and Rooerts (skip)' by 23—20.
Finlayson, Briggs and Buxton (skip) were beaten by Cambie Wilson and Coburn (skip )23—17.
