SHOOTING.
MINIATURE RIFLE COMPETITION,
Quite unexpected enthusiasm has Tieen manifested in the forthcoming miniature rifle competition, no fewer than twenty-two teams, comprising one hundred and ten marksmen, having entered. The conditions of the competiton are that the teams of five men shall mccc on spscifled dates and shall fire at two ranges—ls and ?0 yards—with seven shots and a sighter at each. There are two or three trophies as prizes for the teams, and in addition the twenty best individual scorers shall fire off for a trophy valued at £ 3 3s, presented by the Fletcher Target Company.
