THE EARTHQUAKES.
Christchurch, Thursday. A telegram received from Calverden states that three further shocks of earthquake were felt during the night, and one this morning. No
further news from Hammer Plains. No telegraph office there. Auckland, Friday. At the Supreme Court yesterday, Ann Mahony, charged with arson, was acquitted. This terminated the criminal list of cases.
