Mataroa Flaxmill Workers

The Flax workers at Led wood's Flaxmill, Mataroa, wrote asking that I forward to the '"Worker" the following resolutions passed at their mill: 1. "That this meeting of mill workers do all in their power to help those dependant on the strikers until the present trouble is finished." 2. "That this meeting emphatically protests against the action of the Government in taking sides with capital against Labor in the present struggle." 3. That we note with regret the action" of certain of tho working class who are acting as special constables and practically receiving blood money— money created by the laboring class, thus \helping the employers to defeat tho workers in their just demands." 4. "That tho secretary of the union be asked to nave any or all of the resolutions inserted in "The Maoriland Worker " P. T. ROBERTSON, secretary.
