BOWLING NOTES
ROXBURGH v. ALEXANDRA On Saturday of last week, four rinks from the local Bowling Club journeyed to Alexandra to play a match for the shield against the Alexandra Club. This year these matches are being played in sections., The results were as follows: Section 1 Dryden, Laloli, R. Bennetts, Crossan 11 v. Tyrrell, Kemp, Russell, Miller 23. Hammond, Uren, Grant, MeKnight 19 v. King, Jack, Campbell, Watt 17., Roxburgh 30 points. Alexandra 40 points. Section 2 Moore, Martin, Sherlaw, Dunlay 24 v. McKeller, Galt, Wilson, Middlemiss 17. Manuel, Holmes, Hill, McLeay 20 v. Clark, Saunders, Symons, Sunderland 31. Roxburgh 44 points. Alexandra 48 points.
