The women were asked lu choose a man who was the epitome of their desires. The qualifications of the man had to be — power to thrill, strung masculine face and chin; tall, symmetrical body; thin lips; lung, shapely legs; small feel; pliable muscles. The mental attributes being charm, wit, flair for dancing and athletics. The ladies who took part in the queer judging stressed that their ideal must not have the following faults; Desire to sing when intoxicated; vanity, such as moustache, gold teeth (and smiles to show them); masses of muscle, and hairy arms and legs.
