Roxburgh Tenuis Club.
The mutual meeting of the Roxburgh Tenuis Club was held in the pavilion on Wednesday evening last when there was a fair number present. The balance sheet, which disclosed a small credit balance was adopted. The credit balance would have been larger but for the fact that several loans by members had been refunded by the club. The following ofike-bearers were elected for the season; —President, Mr J. George; Vice-president, Dr J. R. 1 nuiur, J. Rooney and J. Dance; Club captain. F. ,1. Laloli; secretary and treasurer. G. 11. Jeffery; general committee, office-bearers and 'Mrs Gilmour and Mrs Allen.
it was decided to reduce the subscription for this season as tallows: .Men. ff.A, - (mineable to fit's if paid before Nov. 30, 1931); ladies, las (redueeabie to Iffs dd if paid before Nov. 30). The junior subscription was fixed til ss. It was decided to hold over the ques tion of affiliating with Vincent and Tuapeka Associations until a further meeting of the club was held. The first Saturday in October was suggested as the opening day tor th< club if suitable.
