Lawn Tennis Competition

The match between Takaro and St. Patrick’s in the Manawatu Lawn Tennis Association’s "B" grade competition, played at the week-end, resulted in a win for the former by 16 sets to nil. Details are as follow, Takaro players being mentioned* first in each instance:—

Men’s doubles: Bovis and Rennie beat Joyce and Stewart, Johansen ana Bowden beat Rvan and O’Connell.

Women’s doubles: E. Francis and D. Simon beat M. McPeak and N. Joyce,
