The deposits were phenomenally large during last week, the splendid total of £4316 6s 5d being reached by the city of Palmerston North. The country offices also did well, notably Feilding with £865 12s, Pahiatua £251 11s 3d, Dannevirke £239 13s and Woodvillo £216 5s Bd. The following 19 offices secured their weekly quota in the Palmerston North postal area: Palmerston North, Apiti. Bulls, Dannevirke, Feilding, Glen Oroua, Halcombe, Kimbolton, Levin, Manakau, Pahiatua, Pongaroa, Ramgiotu, Rangiwahia, Rongotea, Sdhson, Weber, Weraroa and Woodville.
