Motor Cycling
The Manawatu-Orion Motor Cycle Club held a hill climb during the week-end, and some good riding was witnessed by a considerable crowd of spectators. The outstanding rider was F. Nesdale who was second in the open event, and, In the run-off, registered fastest time for the day, also winning the handicap event easily. Other riders who were consistently good during the afternoon were Don Klngsbeer, A. Thompson, J. Smith, M. Sheerin and Rex Faulding. Results: Open event, A. Thompson (Ariel), time, 21 l-ssec., 1; F.
