Crewe and family, of Wakeman Street, are spending tho w'oek-end at Raumati South. Lieut.-Colouel and Mrs. J. M. Reidy, who have been visiting Mrs. D. Kelly, of Main Street, have returned to Wellington. Mr. Leith Parker is a man of many parts. In addition to being a farmer and a contractor, he almost invariably fills the position of M.C. for the many dances organised by the local Victory Club girls.
