Miss Marion Tylee, of Wakomaa Street, has been visiting Masterton. Mrs. D. C. Brown and her daughter, of Tyndall Street, are visiting Pahiatua. Mr. and Mrs. W. D. C. Crewe and family, of Wakeman Street, are spending tho w'oek-end at Raumati South. Lieut.-Colouel and Mrs. J. M. Reidy, who have been visiting Mrs. D. Kelly, of Main Street, have returned to Wellington. Mr. Leith Parker is a man of many parts. In addition to being a farmer and a contractor, he almost invariably fills the position of M.C. for the many dances organised by the local Victory Club girls. Last Saturday, however, he appeared in a now role, namely broadcaster at the Pahiatua Horse Sports. He certainly worked overtime and made a good job of his initial broadcast.
