The Tokio official radio announced that on the eve of the extraordinary session of the Imperial Diet which is expected to clarify measures for enhancing Japan’s fighting strength to an invincible structure the Imperial Rule Political Assistance Association conferred to-day with the House of Representatives. The Yomiuri Hochi stated editorially: "The challenge of the hour has been met. The Japanese people, mindful of the essence of their 3000 years of racial traditions, have truly grasped the gravity of the stark realities of the national crisis. Our reservists are prepared to meet the exigencies of the hour and are ready to maintain the security of the homeland."
