Primary Education

The Ilokowhitu School Committee’s meeting on Monday was under the chairmanship of Mr. Green. The headmaster reported that tho roll figures were improving and that during the term a number of parents had visited the school. During the holidays a portion of the playing grounds was asphalted. The activities of the Home and School Association continued to provide instruction and entertainment. Messrs Green, Williamson, and Kerr were appointed representatives on the Manawatu and Oroua School Committees’ Association. The painting of the cubicles at the baths has been completed and the question of installing a learners’ pool is receiving consideration.
