Big Copenhagen Wharf Wrecked by Fire
Received Friday, 11.50 p.m. LONDON, Mar. 12. A fire on Wednesday night wrecked Burmeister and Wain’s magazine wharf at Copenhagen, states the Associated Press Stockholm correspondent. Twothirds of the 150-yard wharf were ruined. A communique stated that the cause of the fire is unknown. The wharf was reputedly used to build Diesel engines for Germany although the Danes deny this.
