Germany Produces 130-seater Troop-carrier

Received Thursday, 10.20 p.m. LONDON, Mar. 11. Germany is producing a new 130seater troop-carrier, says the Pfess Association’s aeronautical correspondent. Designated the Messerschmitt 323, it is powered with six Gnome-Rhone radial engines each developing 700 to 800 horsepower at 10,000 feet and has a multi-wheeled undercarriage for aiding rough landings. It is not known whether Britain possesses a troop-carrier similar to the new Messerschmitt, but America is constructing the world’s largest 150-seater 70-ton Mars.
