Mrs. A. Brown, Thames, is visiting her sister, Mrs. A. Poananga, at Rangiotu for a few weeks. Miss Blaine Hall, Langston Avenue, Palmerston North, has been transferred to the Navy olflce, Wellington and left for that centre last Saturday. Pupils of Miss June Scott, of Palmerston North, at the Pahiatua gala on Saturday gained most of the places in the national dancing events. J. McMillan, C. Pinfold, V. Maultsaid, and L. llepworth gained the points medal in the class under 17 years. Z. Broughton (a pupil of Miss D. McLean) won the medal in the class under 13.
