Moving American Tribute To British Navy

(British Official Wireless.) Received Sunday, 9.20 p.m. RUGBY, Mar. 6. The New York Times pays a moving tribute to the Royal Navy. Jt says: "While British capital ships have been replaced, cruisers nearly bo and destroyers and submarines more than replaced, there is no replacement for the men who died* They are the sacrifices offered by Britain to keep the enemy from her own shores and from ours, to maintain seaborne commerce and to save the oceans for human liberty. "The ships and crews of the United States are now partners in this worldwide enterprise. Our warships can go further with greater hope of victory than they could have done if the British Fleet had not held the sea lanes bravely for two tragic years alone.”
