Anzac Air Force Team Beaten at Rugby

Received Sunday, 9.50 p.m. LONDON, Mar. 6. A rugby match resulted in the Airborne Division beating the combined New Zealand and Australian Air Forces at Richmond by B—6. The match was used as a wireless trial for a new type of self-contained transmitter and the commentary on the match was broadcast to members of the Airborne Division, who were unable to attend. They reported full-strength reception.
