The Prime Minister (Mr. Eraser) lias received advice that, as a result of the recent successful action between New Zealand naval forces and a Japanese submarine, resulting in the destruction of the submarine, the United States Commander in the South Pacific has, in the name of the President of the UnUed States, made the following Navy Cross.—Lieut.-Commander G.
