Automobile Association

(To the Editor.) Sir. —Seldom do we hear of an organisation being censured because it is successful, but this is concisely what Is happening in connection with the Automobile Association. If the committee had consistently shown a loss one could have expected criticism. There are always a number of people prepared to take over the management of a successful concern, but I, for one, am Inclined to leave the association in the hands of the men who have managed it over a number of years in an honorary capacity and succeeded in placing ft in the sound position it is to-day. I am equally prepared to leave the question of surplus funds in the hands of these same men who are not likely to squander or waste this very valuable asset of the Association. I am, etc.,— PRIVATE MOTORIST.
