(Received 22. 12.45 pjn.) OTTAWA, May 2L The Prime Minister, Mr W. L. Mackenzie King, to-day, asked the Canadian House of Commons to remember “in this, probably one of the darkest hours in the Empire’s history,” that the outlook was similarly dark in 1918 but that the British and French then rallied and won.
