WAIRARAPA COLLEGE BEAT P.N. TECHNICAL SCHOOL Although the Palmerston North Technical School representative teams were beaten in both the Rugby football and basketball matches with Wairarapa College, at Masterton, on Wednesday afternoon, tho high scores registered against them were no indication of the trend of play. Wairarapa won the football by 20 points to nil. The game was hard fought and one of the home players scored three tries in succession. Palmerston North lost the basketball by 21 goals to 12. In tho early stages they played well, but the Wairarapa side outshone them in passing. For Palmerston North, Joyce Bcrkahn showed quickness in shooting goals.
