Franco-Turkish Fact
PARIS, June 23. A double-barrelled Franco-Turkish Pact is to be signed simultaneously at Paris and Ankara to-day. French troops are already evacuating the Hatay. When France signs her pact with Turkey she will declare that she will not relinquish Syria except to the Syrians themselves, but will return The Hatay to Turkey. Turkey agrees to defend the moral and material interests of France in that area and to abstain from all claims and propaganda in Syria.
