Pahiatua Borough Improvements
ANOTHER STEP FORWARD The whole of Wakeman Street, Pahi atua, is now completely tar-sealcd. Thborough Avorkmen completed the fina 25 chains yesterday afternoon with : double sealing coat on the hill portioi of the road. A very good job of worl has been done, and it is to be hope< that the weather will remain sufficient!; fine next week to enable the projects sealing in Cambridge Street to be car ried out also. Apart from tidying u; the streets and saving costs for main tenance, those citizens living in thes< particular streets will no doubt bo ver; grateful to the borough council for rid ding them of the dust nuisance. It i anticipated that further planned scalin. Avorks will be carried out by the box ough council next summer.
