MANAWATU APPOINTMENTS Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 18. The first draft of appointments for the current year of: ministers of the New Zealand Methodist Church was approved this morning by tho annual conference of the church now sitting in Christchurch, subject to revision at a later stage of the conference. The following are tho changes in the existing appointments in tho Hawke's Bay-Manawatu district:—Napier, Revs. S. J. Warren and A. Snnft; Palmerston North (St. Paul's), Rev. C. Eaton; Ashhurst-Buunythorpe, Rev. R. Richards; Sanson-Rongotea, Rev. C. M. Roberts. Rev. G. I. Laurcnson was appointed general superintendent of home missions, and Rov. H. J. Odell was appointed assistant superintendent, an office previously held by Mr. Laurcnson. Rev. E. P. Blamires, who will relinquish the post of young people's director after .17 years' servico, was relieved of circuit work for a year to enable him to visit the United States and England. t
