The Hawaiian-Japancse .swimmer, Kiyoshi Nakama, who is at present in Australia, covers iris forearms and hands with resin before entering the water. It prevents 'he hand from slipping when the swimmer is turning, and thus enables him to make 'ne turn, whir!: means so much in periect style.
