Bulls
From Our Own Correspondent. On Saturday there will be two Rugby matches at Bulls, a mixed team of seniors and juniors meeting a strong side from the Ohakea aerodrome, and Bulls thirds playing a competition match. The Bulls thirds have been selected as follow J. Klatt, J. Young, B. AlcKinnon, S Green, J. Signal, J. Bromley. D. Harper A. Klatt, G.. Torrey, A. Torrey, F. Garard. H. O’Connell, R. Ellery. N. Ellery, j Wilkins, J. Howard, G. Bromley and A Button.
Bulls and Parewanui school teams met at Bulls this week, Parewanui winning by 31 to 12. The home side was weakened through the absence of several players who are suffering with measles. Bulls basketball club had another wir this week, defeating Glen Oroua by 2(1 goats to 9. Wintry weather continues, and farmers are having a lot of trouble with lambing at present. The cows are coming in also, and the new season is not enjoying a propritious "send-off.”
Hospital reports aro to the effect that four local residents are making good progress in that institution. Aleasles, influenza and other ailments are prevalent hero at present.
