Feilding Golf Club
CORONATION DAY TOURNAMENT The match committee of the Feilding Golf Club has finalised arrangements for a tournament to bo played on Coronation Day and continued over the following week-end. It is proposed to play qualifying rounds in the morning and on the scores registered players will be divided into flights of eight to contest tho Coronation cup and the Coronation plate. The first eight to qualify will play off for the Coronation cup and the second eight to qualify will contest the Coronation plate. Other groups of eight will play off on handicap. On Coronation Day morning the qualifying round will be while in tho afternoon the first round of match play will take place. On Saturday the second round will be played in conjunction with a senior and a junior bogey competition. Over the weekend the finals of the flights of eight will be decided in conjunction with a medal contest for seniors and juniors, while a fourball best ball bogey will be played in the afternoon. Entries for the events are now being received by the secretary. Second Qualifying Round.
