The twenty-second anniversary of tho landing at Anzac in the Great War was celebrated on Sunday. In the Wellington district gatherings were held at Wellington and in the Hutt Valley, and at Eastbourne. At top, a general view of the assembly at the War Memorial, Lam bton Quay. Centro left, Major-General J. E. Duigan, General Officer Commanding the New Zealand Forces, a t the salute after laying a wreath on the Memorial. Centre right, the Governor-General, Lord Galway, reading a message from the King. Bottom left, march past of R.S.A. members at Lower Hutt.
The Acting Prime Minister, the Hen. Peter Fraser, accompanied by the Minister of Defence, Hon. F. Jones, on his way on Sunday afternoon to lay the Government's wreath on the War Memorial, Wellington.
