Pedigree Pigs Sell Well
“BLYTHEWOOD” STUD IN THE RING That there is a ready demand for good pigs was demonstrated in Palmerston North yesterday when a large bench of buyers from all parts of the North Island was in keen competition for pedigree Tamworths and Berkshires from the ‘ < Blythewood M stud of Mr. J. A. Russell, Kairanga. Half the offering of Berkshire sows and boars was sired by the imported English boar, “Branton Rambler/ 7 who is strongly transmitting his good qualities of the latest improved type of English Berkshire. In tho Tamworth section the offering was small but select, and the majority of the animals was backed by imported blood. The sale presented a wonderful opportunity to thoso wishing to purchase sound foundation stock. Tho auctioneers were Messrs.
