Mr. and Mrs. S. -R. Cole, of Auckland, are on a motoring tour and are at present the guests of Mrs. A. K. Drew, of Sanson. Mrs. R. P. Adams and Miss J. Kerr, first and second lady players of the Levin Tennis Club, journeyed to Martinborough to take part in the tennis tournament held there during the holiday period. Both w'ere successful in reaching the finals in several of the events, Mrs. Adams being runner-up in the ladies’ championship and combined, and with Miss Kerr, won the South Wairarapa ladies’ championship doubles.
