HON. WALTER NASH’S MISSION. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.-—Copyright. Received Wednesday, 1 a.m.' LONDON, Jan. 4. i Hon. Walter Nash, speaking at the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce, said New Zealand was anxious to do what can be done in order to maintain the status of British shipping in the Pacific with the least possible disturbance of her relations with the United States. Mr. Nash, continuing the subject of his mission, said: “No force in the world can break up the Empire, at least as between Britain and New Zealand. New Zealand will give the United Kingdom first call on its surplus production and take manufactured commodities and other services in exchange.
