New Empire Air Base
(British Official Wireless.) Received Tuesday, 9.50 p.m. RUGBY, Jan. 4. The Portsmouth docks and Airport Committee have passed a new scheme for the establishment of an Empire air base at Langston Harbour for presentation to the Town Council. The estimated cost is £750,000 towards which there will be a grant of about £160,000 from the Government.
