Farmer Struck as Hayrake Capsizes
ACCIDENT AT MOUTOA. Struck by the swiuglctree of the hayrake he was driving, Mr William Hibbell, of Moutoa, yesterday suffered concussion and facial abrasions. Mr Hibbell, who is a married farmer, was driving the rake along a piece of sloping ground and, realising the machine was about to capsize, he called the horses to a halt. One of them, a young animal, however, did not stand still, and as a result Mr Hibbell received the injuries which necessitated his removal to the Palmerston North hospital. His condition last evening was satisfactory.
