Feilding Foresters’ Lodge

The gathering for the weekly card tourney and dance at the Feilding Foresters’ Lodge on Saturday evening was well patronised. Winners of the cards were Mrs. Jones and Miss Smith, in the ladies’ section, and Messrs. Prendergast and Rossiter in the men’s. Supper was served at the conclusion of the cards, after which a short dance programme took place. Mr. W. Feakins was M.C. Music was supplied by Feeney’s orchestra. Mr. J. Waterworth was successful in a special novelty competition and in tho Monte Carlo waltz Mr. Edhouse and partner were the winners. The function concluded at midnight, with the singing of the National Anthem.
